The holiday season is our favorite time of the year here at Meriel Marina Bay! From decorating our community, to providing holiday events, our goal for the season is to provide cheer for our residents and the Marina Bay community!
We all have our own holiday traditions and favorites that make this time of year so special. Now we’re giving you an inside look at our Meriel Marina Bay team and our own holiday traditions. Today’s featured employee is Callah Sponheimer, your General Manager!
Wrapping paper or gift bags?– Love wrapping paper, but hate wrapping presents…

What is our favorite gift you’ve ever received? – Fall of Giants by Ken Folett
Favorite holiday movie? – The Muppet Christmas Carol
Favorite holiday song? – Wonderful Christmastime
Favorite thing to eat during the holidays– Mashed potatoes!
Do you drink eggnog?– Ew
Favorite holiday tradition – Walking around my childhood neighborhood in the snow admiring all the lights.
Does your family send out holiday cards each year? – ‘Til I turned 19.
When do you start your holiday shopping? – Cyber week!
Stay home or travel for the holidays? – Connecticut for the holidays.
What do you like most about the holiday season? – Recently my family decided to give each other experiences instead of gifts. We’ve done Broadway shows in NYC, Patriots games; as long as we’re together, that’s all that matters!
